Bangkok Declaration on Physical Activity for Global Health and Sustainable Development
At its meeting in Paris on 6 December 2016, the IUHPE Executive Board endorsed the ISPAH Bangkok Declaration on Physical Activity for Global Health and Sustainable Development. This ISPAH new position statement highlights the importance of physical activity for global health, the prevention of noncommunicable diseases and how the co-benefits of population-based actions on physical activity can contribute to achieving eight of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The IUHPE Executive Board (EB) has previously endorsed the ISPAH statements, 'The Toronto Charter for Physical Activity' and 'Seven Best Investments for Physical Activity'.
